Arrojo Razor Cutting and Hair Painting with Nick Arrojo

From June 14th to 15th, Kim and Lance participated in a hands on razor cutting and hair painting class at the Toronto Goldwell Academy, under the guidance of New York City celebrity stylist, Nick Arrojo.

The morning of day one started with a presentation by Nick and his team, followed by getting our hands dirty. “It was a great experience to have Nick watching over your shoulder giving you direction on how slight changes in position and angles with the straight blade can make good work great.”

Zach of the Arrojo team shared the latest New York City hair painting techniques which we have to say were the best we have seen to date. Kim and Lance have been implementing the techniques in the studio with the Element team.

The entire Element team was invited to an evening presentation with Nick demonstrating another razor cut. His model was our very own Natasha!

Lance and Kim also had several opportunities to catch up with Nick and chat business. Kim and Lance are planning to meet up again with the Arrojo team in New York City come October to gain insight and techniques for upcoming fall trends.
