STAFF PICK: Arrojo Hair Repair Mask

Brooke Lowater is a stylist at Element Hair and one of her favourite products is Arrojo’s Hair Repair Mask:

As a hair stylist I change my hair colour all the time, which causes continuous damage. Arrojo’s hair mask uses Keratin protein, the protein hair is made from, to repair dry, damaged, and colour treated hair.

It’s the perfect product if you change up your style often or if you dye your hair on a regular basis.

The three key ingredients in the Hair Repair Mask are: silk amino acids, keratin and oat protein.

1. Silk amino acids prevent dehydration in the hair. 10-15% of your hair is made up of moisture and ingredients like silk amino acids prevent that moisture from leaving.

2. Keratin is the main protein in hair. 70-80% of hair is made up of protein so the additional keratin in this product will help reconstruct your damaged stands.

3. Oat protein adds any missing protein back into your hair too. It also softens the hair and reduces breakage. This is even more important if you brush and style your hair every day.

Brooke’s Hair Repair Mask Tips:

Shampoo hair and rinse. Apply mask to damp, towel dried hair, let sit for ten minutes and rinse. Use once a week for damaged, dehydrated hair or on occasion for all other hair types.
