Goldwell Color’s collection for 2015, Traditional Rebels, is the hottest topic among hair stylists and style enthusiasts!

The brand new line of hairstyles for 2015 from Goldwell features a selection of designs that focus on texture, curves, dynamic colour and deconstruction.

Traditional Rebels utilizes bands, lines and curves. The Bandeau technique is characterized by a Bandeau-shaped section, which consists of curves and points that contour the head.

A ‘bandeau’ by definition is a fabric that wraps around the head or body to emphasize the shape, becoming an accessory to the clothing. A bandeau in the hair is a great way to create a colour statement, as well as showcase the shape of a cut or texture.

This new foil technique offers face-framing highlights, and an option to add brightness around the face for a new spring look. We gave this technique a try ourselves, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results!

The Single Bandeau can be customized to suit each individual. Our stylist, Chandra Holtze, used cool tones to keep a natural look and blended it with pre-existing colours. One of the major benefits of this technique is that it can be dramatic or soft depending on your client’s preference.
